Founded in July 1948, in Cap Haitian , North of the country.  Oldest of all the musical groups still active in Haiti. Produce more than 300 recorded titles that show the evolution of the urban popular music during the XXth century.   Created their own repertoire based both on local rhythms, meringues, voodoo rhythms, and Latin-American rhythms in fashion : bolero, pachanga, meringue, mambo, ranchera, etc. Winner of  the title of National Carnival Champion – 2013. A documentary of the American director Whitney Dow, When the drum is beating, put them in the center of a worldwide attention and the success of the CD “ Pi Douvan”   which locally reconciles youngest and oldest fanatics in Haiti.
